Ms. Nubee makes beautiful, unique soapstone carvings. She thinks people all over the world would love to buy them. She has called you, the president of E-Tailor Internet Consulting, to find out how to sell her carvings on the Internet and what it would cost to set up a website.

You arrange to meet with her to better assess her needs. Just as your business cards say, you promise you'll do your best to provide Internet solutions.

After a short discussion, you offer to develop a proposal for Ms. Nubee. It will show her how much her 1st year on the Internet will cost her.

Here are the costs:

  • You estimate that Ms. Nubee's relatively simple website will take a total of 45 hours to create. Your hourly rate for website design and development is $75.
  • You estimate you'll need to consult with her a total of 20 hours, at an hourly rate of $90.
  • The rate you charge to register a domain name (like www.bridges.com) is $200. This is a 1-time charge, and is done after the website is designed.
  • The monthly cost of having the website hosted on a server will be $50 a month.

Using the above information, figure out how much it's going to cost Ms. Nubee for her 1st year on the Internet.
