Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You recommend he go into the lower-level class.

This option would follow the rules. It would also help the client in the area where he needs help. He would learn conversational English in an environment where he would probably feel comfortable, since all the other students would be on the same level as him. In other words, there would be no reason for him to feel embarrassed about his spoken English, says Adriana Parau.

On the other hand, the client might be bored whenever the class is not honing its conversation skills, leaving him intellectually unchallenged. His attention and interest in the class would certainly wane, and he may start to feel like that he is wasting his time. And if that were the case, it would not benefit anybody.
