Without so much as a minute to digest your lunch, your secretary buzzes you with your next appointment. "Send them in," you reply, rising from your chair. In walks Mr. Bean with his five-year-old daughter Libby, who is crying and holding her left ear. It doesn't take you long to diagnose the little one with an ear infection.

You decide to put Libby on Amoxil for four days, or until her pain subsides. The 59-pound girl will require 23 mg per kg of weight per day of Amoxil to cure the infection. How much Amoxil are you going to put the girl on per day and for the four days in total?

Consider in your calculation that 1 kg is equal to 2.204 lbs. Remember that Libby is 59 pounds (lbs), not kilograms (kg).
