Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You decide to turn down the promotion.

You tell your boss you're not ready for the responsibility. Your boss is disappointed and says she hopes you realize how responsible your current job is.

Your boss hires a pharmacy technician from outside the hospital. She has had experience with a buyer's job, but she knows very little about your particular hospital. You wonder if you could have done the job better and feel badly for shying away from the responsibility.

"A good pharmacy technician will embrace responsibility," says pharmacy technician Andrew Cordiale.
