Real-Life Communication

You are a usability engineer. Your starting point for any project is to understand your client's objectives. To become familiar with your client's website, you must use it yourself. You have a preliminary meeting with your client. You want to be able to present some ideas. You spend about an hour on the site and make the following observations:

1. The "add to cart" button is very far down on the page

2. It takes three clicks to discover the company's reason for being

3. The product descriptions do not define the difference between the products

4. It took five minutes to complete a quiz to see which products suit you best.

From your observations, write a preliminary report for the company. Outline what you experienced. Also suggest some ideas about how you would like to improve their website.
