Real-Life Decision Making

You are an exploitation engineer for a $10-million oil well. Things have been going great during the drilling, until suddenly the well begins to gush.

You stay up all night trying to figure out what is going on beneath the surface of the Earth, and what you can do to fix the problem.

The days are passing. You are frantically working, but no easy solution is presenting itself. It is costing the company $200,000 per day while you try and get the well operating. After the 13th day of working, you are still no closer to finding a way to stop the leaking into the ocean or to get the drilling started again.

What do you do?
