You play with a band at local nightclubs. Your 5-piece group plays 4 nights a week. As leader, it's your job to help make sure the band gets paid.

The deal you've worked out with the nightclub owner nets you 20 percent of the cover charge. But not everyone in the band is paid equally. As leader, you get 25 percent of the total. Gary, the drummer, gets 15 percent because he's only been with the band a short time. Mary (vocals), Dave (guitar) and Judy (keyboards) get 20 percent each.

At the end of this particular week, the total cover charges taken in for the four nights were: $2,500, $4,100, $5,250 and $4,560. How much does everyone get paid?
