Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You decide to redo the designs.

You swallow your pride and decide to rework the designs for the manufacturer. You create the look they want, but add touches of your own style to the designs. The manufacturer is happy with the designs and your ability to be creative in spite of the limitations.

As well as listening skills, designer Liz Tompkins says flexibility is essential for a fashion designer.

"It's very important to understand that you can't say, 'This is what I want to see, so that's what everyone else should be wearing.' You just can't be a fashion dictator."
