Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

Tell the doctor that he has the gene and will develop Huntington's.

You tell the doctor that David has the gene for Huntington's. After all, she's his doctor and he is going to need medical care down the road.

Now David's test results are part of his medical records --- and could affect his employability.

When he finds out that you told his doctor, he is livid and leaves the study. He also changes doctors. You've lost his support on your research and you realize you violated the trust he placed in you when he signed up for the study.
