Real-Life Decision Making

An explosion in a chemical factory has killed 11 workers. You're the producer of a current-affairs radio program. The evening after the explosion, you have managed to find a witness and safety expert to talk about preventing future accidents.

Half an hour before the show airs, you see that a victim's husband is quoted on the wire service. He had been investigating plant safety for several months before the blast and he has a lot to say about preventative measures. The husband would be a fascinating person to talk to, but you are uncomfortable calling him just hours after he's learned of his wife's death. What should you do?
