Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You keep the center open.

You decide to keep the center open because so many people in the community said it was their only link to the main campus.

However, in order to pay the staff and keep the center open, you gut many of the programs offered.

In a few months, you learn that many of the people are still angry. Their center is open but it doesn't offer any of the courses they need. Now they'll have to travel great distances to update their skills.

"You might have to close certain programs," says Kassen. "But you have to develop a new strategy that will help the people."

He says the cuts also depend on the location of the town. "It depends on many variables," he says. "It might be in an area where many people need retraining."
