Simulation engineers are constantly reading and writing technical reports. The paragraph below is from a NASA report on a space shuttle simulation. Read the paragraph and see if you can answer the questions that follow.

A series of brake input voltages were applied to all channels from both the commander and the pilot stations. The resulting output pressures were plotted against requirements curves and compared with the previous simulation. All channels showed acceptable performance. The left outboard brake pressure oscillation is still present but the magnitude has not grown from the ±40 psi oscillations observed in April. This magnitude is less than the maximum ±90 psi limit agreed upon by the community, so no further action was taken. The antiskid performance will continue to be a closely monitored subject in future simulations. (Courtesy of NASA's Ames Research Center)

Now answer the following questions:

1. What was being tested?

2. What were engineers paying particular attention to as a result of a previous simulation?

3. What did the report conclude?
