Scuba Diving Instructor

Real-Life Decision Making

A certified open-water diver named Jeremy arrives at your company. He wants to dive with a group of students for whom you've just provided a lesson.

You'll be taking the students 100 feet below the surface. Jeremy tells you he has asthma, but says his doctor has cleared the way for him to dive. But he has no doctor's certificate with him. You know as an instructor that asthma, even mild asthma, can create acute problems if an attack occurs underwater. What do you do?
