Real-Life Communication -- Solution

Here's one way you could answer the question:

"The company has been nothing but great to me. You'd have to ask the company or the boarder for more details. It has nothing to do with me. All I can say is they've been great to me, and I have absolutely no complaints."

"I think communication skills are very important in not just snowboarding, but anything in life, really," says Natasha Paterson, a snowboarder and snowboard instructor. "If you are looking for sponsorship, you spend a lot of your time in the public eye. With that you have to do interviews, appear on camera and basically promote the company who is sponsoring you. It also helps to get your foot in the door, along with your skills, for some of the companies too.

"Part of being in the snowboarding world is also having friends and riding with them. Your skills improve a lot faster if you are hanging out with them and pushing each other. If you are getting coaching, being able to talk to your coaches and tell them what you are having problems with and what you want to learn is important as well."
