Real-Life Communication -- Solution

"Don't worry if you don't understand," you say to the people. "This is complicated material, and even scientists have many mysteries to solve about how DNA works in the body."

  1. Your DNA is found inside the cell. Inside this nucleus lie 46 chromosomes. If you could see your own 46 chromosomes magnified many times, you would see that each consists of a single cord of DNA. That's called a chromatin.
  2. Almost every cell in your body has DNA housed within it.
  3. The cord of DNA molecules is called the chromatin.
  4. Each molecule of DNA consists of two strands joined together in a geometric structure called the double helix. Each strand of the double helix is joined together by a series of hydrogen bonds. So the DNA looks like a long spiral staircase.
  5. The spine of the DNA is made up of sugars and phosphates.
