Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You do what the client wants.

Despite her varicose veins, you give your client the full treatment. The deep massaging irritates her varicose veins.

She comes back the next week. Her doctor has told her that her varicose veins have gotten worse. She blames you, even though you had warned her.

She storms off. You've hurt your reputation. Also, you've opened yourself to the possibility of a lawsuit.

"You can't just work on anybody if they're willing to pay you. You have to have some discrimination," says rolfer Jaret Leah. "Someone with bad varicose veins, it would be unsafe to work on them because you could make their health worse."
