"I'm not a proponent of using temporary labor," says Waddell. "The people that work for the company need to be a team. And so it's all hands on deck and we're all part of the same team trying to accomplish a goal.

"Having some big segment of the workforce that comes and goes but isn't really part of the team usually doesn't play out too well."
