Dahlia at Carnations Flower Shop needs help automating her store. She wants her inventory to be on the computer and wants to be able to track deliveries that are made around town.

She hasn't used computer equipment before, so she isn't sure how having a computer will help. Dahlia also has to know how much it will cost to become automated.

These are the costs to have the store automated:

Your wages: $195
Computer costs: $2,500
Inventory software: $150

You create a software program that can be used to track deliveries about town. It will group areas together so that a delivery van will always drive on the most efficient route.

Delivery software: $300
Total costs: $3,145

Write a proposal that explains how much it will cost to automate Carnations Flower Shop and why it would be a good idea.
