Here's one way to answer that question honestly and still keep the company happy.

"I know that some people think WheelJuice is too corporate or has taken away from the sport by being too mainstream, but I've never agreed with that view. I think it's always a good thing when companies help spread the word about skating.

"If WheelJuice hadn't had such a prominent mainstream presence, many of the young kids skating today wouldn't be out there skating, and they're the next generation. I'd have a hard time saying that's a bad thing in any way."

Communication can help skaters advance their careers by giving them chances to network and make connections.

"[Skaters] must interact with people in order to get their name out there," says aggressive inline skater Layla Quinones.
