Real-Life Decision Making

Computer engineers are highly skilled professionals. Their expertise is used in many different industries. These include communications, aircraft and space, and medical technologies. Sometimes computer engineers find themselves in industries that they know little about.

You are a computer engineer. You work for a consulting business. Outside companies hire your company to come in and test software and hardware. These companies want to make sure that all their systems are in proper working order.

Your boss picks you and three others to work on designing and testing technology for a company called Air and Space Inc. You are working on testing gyroscopes and accelerometers. The instruments could be used in the space shuttle program or for atomic missiles.

You are very troubled by this. You are opposed to atomic testing. What do you do?
