Real-Life Math -- Solution

If you take a rectangle and cut it into 2 congruent triangles, you will still use the same base and height to figure out the area of each triangle.

Area = 1/2 (base)(height)

Area = 1/2 (64 inches)(32 inches)
Area = 1/2 (2,048)
Area = 1,024 square inches

But you want to use both sides, so you can double that number:

Total = 1,024 x 2
Total = 2,048

You have 2,048 square inches of area in which to write ad copy.
