Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You decide to outline the exercises again.

This is the real-life decision physical therapist Kirsty Exner would make. People sometimes don't realize how important it is to follow through with therapeutic exercises.

"You need to find a way to motivate them to get better by finding the right exercise or the right thing so that they're going to feel a noticeable difference, a noticeable change," says Exner.

If the exercises don't get results, it's possible there's another cause.

"Maybe [they didn't do the exercises] because it didn't feel like it really did anything for them," says Exner. "So, I might look at that and go, 'OK, what else is going on?' I may... peel back another layer on the onion and see what else is going on."
