Pyrotechnician

Real-Life Activities

Real-Life Decision Making

You've been hired to handle the pyrotechnics for a big concert. Soon, the indoor arena is going to be filled with 5,000 screaming teenagers. Everyone's expecting a spectacular show.

You've planned to use two sets of fireballs. One set shoots 32 feet up, and the other shoots 82 feet up.

While setting up, you see that your assistant brought the wrong fireballs. You've got lots of 32-foot fireballs, but no 82-foot fireballs. Instead, he brought the 98-foot ones.

The problem is, the concrete ceiling is only about 98 feet high.

What do you do?
