Real-Life Decision Making

A winning soccer team is only as good as its players. Every one of those 11 members must be highly skilled individually as well as a good fit for the team.

You are a high school soccer coach auditioning players for your team. You have a particular soft spot for one player whose generous personality seems to bring such energy to the game. There's only one problem -- he just doesn't have the physical talent equal to his spirit. And there is another complication.

His father just happens to be the school's most generous benefactor. An important fact in itself, it takes on new meaning in a year when the school's sports budget is threatened. While his popularity with the other team players is undisputed, you cannot dismiss the knowledge that there are more talented potential players waiting in the wings who could also blend in well with the existing members.

What do you do?
