Re: Organizational Training
Are
you pressed for time? Who isn't? Keeping track of all those meetings
and all that paperwork that lands on your desk every day can tax even the
most organized person's patience.
That's why the training
department will sponsor a workshop designed to help you organize your work
lives and be more productive. The session will be led by a leading expert
on organization. It will include tips on keeping a calendar and keeping paperwork
from overflowing on your desk.
The training session will take about
two hours. Refreshments will be served.
We in the training department
understand that your time is valuable. To ask you to give up two hours of
potential work time is not something we do lightly.
Studies have shown
that periodic training of employees helps to make them happier and more effective
in the long run.
You can view this session as a chance to break up
your regular routine -- a two-hour respite from the daily grind, if you will.
Or you can take comfort in knowing that employees who attend voluntary training
sessions are more likely to receive pay raises and promotions than those who
do not.
Again, this session is voluntary, but we think it will be time
well spent for anyone who attends. We look forward to seeing you there.
