You are an esthetician working in a spa. As an esthetician, you get a percentage of the profits from products you sell. "Selling is also a large part of the job of the esthetician and will determine whether an employer keeps you or lets you go," says Amy Lee. She is an esthetician with her own traveling spa business.

Although you are new to the spa, you find it is easy to meet your sales target. Your clients are interested in looking their best. They want to continue to care for their skin on a daily basis with quality products. The products you sell are fairly pricey and you can usually meet your weekly target by making two or three sales.

Your minimum sales target each week is $100. You earn eight percent of what you sell. How much would you make from product sales in one year if you always met your weekly target?

In your first month on the job, you sold $112 the first week, $375 the second week, $233 the third week and $426 the fourth week. How much would you make from product sales in a year if every month were like this month?
