You recommend expanding the restaurant to accommodate demand -- raising the average price of a meal to $7.

This option could cost a lot of money. It would require the owner to hire new staff, buy new equipment and remodel the existing restaurant.

Additional expenses would include higher payroll and property taxes. This option would also raise the average price of a meal from $5.75 to $7. This increase may scare existing patrons away.

But it may also attract new ones, and generate more net income for your client. And it has a built-in safety. Costs will not exceed revenues.
