Real-Life Communication -- Solution

Here's what you could say:

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am the environmental consultant who is responsible for the environmental impact assessment report of the proposed housing development project.

"As you know, the development project proposes that one-quarter of the land be used for development. My responsibility is to determine if the remaining part of the bog can sustain the animal population of the bog.

"I spent the whole week studying, mapping and cataloging all animals in this ecosystem. I have concluded that even with one-quarter of the territory going towards development, the parts of the bog which are going to be protected still have enough nutrients to sustain the natural animal population.

"I know some of you are skeptical about my report, but let me assure you that all facts in it are truthful, well researched and documented. The development will not cause any foreseeable harm."
