Troubleshooting is a daily part of an e-mail administrator's job. Why can't a certain person receive or send e-mail? Why is the system slowing down? Has a virus infected the system?

Clark Lebarge is an e-mail administrator. "One of the biggest problems in e-mail administration is preventing the system from open relay for spam [cyberspace junk mail]," he says.

Some people in your company are complaining of spam. These e-mails instruct the receiver to e-mail back in order to be removed from the spammers' mailing list.
