You are an animal physiologist for the Middleton Zoo. It is a facility for animals that are not well. You spend a lot of time in a lab, observing animals and experimenting to determine how and why the animals have become sick. Currently, you are observing a black panther that was recently transferred to your facility.

The panther was sent to your facility because he has been lethargic. He refuses to eat. But finally, after a week in the facility, you think you may have found the problem. While he has begun to be a little more energetic, he still refuses to eat.

The pattern in the blood work leads you to believe the animal has a bacterial infection that can be treated by a wide-spectrum antibiotic. You have decided to administer the antibiotic to the panther. Now you need to figure out the dosage.

According to the instructions, the animal should receive 1.5 cc's of the solution for every kilogram of weight. If the panther weighs 237 pounds, how many cc's of antibiotic should you give it?

Remember: 1 kilogram = 2.2 pounds
