Real-Life Decision Making

Bodhi Kroll has taken up almost a thousand hang-gliding students. Before going, he says sometimes you have to make a decision about whether or not to take a student up.

"There have been only two or three people that I haven't taken up. I try to make sure they're going to follow instructions. It's pretty simple," says Kroll.

You own a hang-gliding school and you are about to go on a tandem flight with one of your students. As you are preparing the glider, you have second thoughts about taking your student up.

She seems distracted. She can't follow your simple directions, such as sliding a pole into a slot. How well is she going to follow directions once you're in the air?

She has already paid for her lessons.

What do you do?
