You are an environmental scientist working in a field that has been contaminated with toxic oils.

You visit the site and find an oil storage tank that is rusted and leaking. You fear that the oil has traveled deep into the soil and contaminated the area around the tank. Trees in the area have turned brown. They are an indication that the oil has moved through the soil. Nearby, there is a stream that is an important spawning bed for a local species of fish.

You pull out a shovel and begin to dig in the area. You find evidence of contamination. With further tests, you discover that the soil has indeed been contaminated with toxic oils.
