Real-Life Decision Making

You are the chief operating officer at a banking institution. In the past month, you have restructured the loans and mortgages section of your company. This was done to serve more customers more efficiently.

This afternoon, two senior managers in this department will be showing the results of the changes to a board of directors. These directors need to be convinced that the changes you have made are positive.

However, the two senior managers are having a dispute about the changes. One feels that they need to push for further changes. The other feels that enough has been done. They need to put forth one opinion this afternoon. They come to you to help solve their differences.

But you are busy analyzing financial statements, preparing for your own important meeting. Couldn't they just figure it out on their own?

What do you do?
