You will have to miss your best friend's bachelor party, but you will still
be able to make it to his wedding. You know that he will be upset, and so
will you, but you vow to yourself that you will make it up to him. Besides,
you knew going into this career that there would be times when you would have
to sacrifice spending time with family and friends. And this could be a turning

"This is a tough business and people should know that going in. You have
to sacrifice a lot," says Melissa Maughn.
She adds that one of the toughest decisions in her career was sacrificing
time with her family and friends in order to pursue a business she loves.
But because of the travel requirements, this is a reality of this career.
"I've missed lots of parties, birthdays, anniversaries, get-togethers
and just the regular hanging out with your friends and family that some people
get to do all the time," she says.
A few days after performing at this major televised wrestling event, promoters
from one of the top wrestling associations in the country approach you. They
say that there were impressed with your character and performance and would
like to schedule you for a tryout.
