Additional Information

Playing hockey professionally is mostly a matter of talent and persistence. Still, in order to be part of the system that leads to the big leagues, you must be in school, be it high school or college.

Spend your time in school wisely. No hockey player is on the ice forever, so make sure you get the education to have a successful second career. Even those players who stay in the hockey world as scouts, coaches and general managers need further education.

Talk to players and coaches in your area for more information on upcoming hockey camps.
