Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You do nothing and keep using the product.

You basically ignore the study and continue to offer the product to your clients. Several outcomes are possible. For one, your customers could learn of the study through the media. They may become angry and wonder why you didn't inform them.

Worse yet, if an angry client who suffers severe headaches can prove you knew but did nothing about the information, you could be sued.

As an aromatherapist, trust is important. You have to be honest with your clients.

"When you consider the fact that most aromatherapists are self-employed, decisions about everything [are important]," says aromatherapist Beverley von Marksfeld-Fuhrherr.

"While they're doing a treatment, the decision would be to choose the right blend for the individual because you've got about 50 to 70 oils to choose from."
