Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You pick the longer distance club and tell her to aim for the green.

This is the real-life decision that caddy Amy Lillibridge would make.

"During one tournament I caddied on the LPGA, my player hit the ball really far left off the tee," she says. "We couldn't see the green at all and that area was really off the map for my yardage book. My player was frustrated and told me to club her because she had no idea what to do."

Lillibridge made the tough decision. "There was a water hazard approximately 150 yards in front of us that ran across the entire fairway and I believed she could clear that and had to give her the club to do this."

It wasn't easy and Lillibridge crossed her fingers. But not before boosting her player's confidence. "I chose the club, handed it to her, gave her some positive thoughts and she cleared it."

Lillibridge admits that it was the right decision on that day, but it could have turned out differently. "I would have been a dead goose if she hadn't made the shot!"
