Insider Info

There are not enough cancer registrars to fill the positions that open up.

"There is an increasing demand," says Linda Mulvihill. She's a board member with the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA). "We measure that by the length of time it takes an employer to fill a position." She adds that the shortage is more severe in some areas than in others.

Earnings and employment information from the U.S. Department of Labor is not available for this field at this time.
