Real-Life Decision Making

You work out of your home, producing high-quality hardwood furniture. You take pride in the handcrafted quality of your work.

A customer is considering having you make an entertainment center for her. She loves the pictures you show her of your past projects.

You tell her the design she wants will cost her $3,500. She is obviously surprised by the high price. However, she's not just buying a piece of furniture -- it's also a work of art.

After a long pause, she asks the price of the same entertainment center without the solid wood back. She wants you to put a cheap piece of plywood on the back instead.

What do you do?
