Horticultural therapists have a few different designations.

An HTT is a person who uses some horticultural therapy in their own therapy discipline, such as occupational therapy or nursing.

An HTR is a professional horticultural therapist who has university or college training. An HTM is a special designation for HTRs who have made a significant contribution to research in the field.

Horticultural therapy is offered at a community college level and as a degree program at universities in the U.S.
