Real-Life Decision Making -- Solution

You decide to pack your bags and move the family to the United States.

It takes a bit of adjustment, but eventually you settle into your new job and your wife and kids get used to their new surroundings. The additional responsibilities of your job make it more satisfying and your paycheck is much bigger. You're happy with your decision.

This is the real-life decision made by space marketer Brian Leadlay. "In this business, you always have to be prepared to move; it's part of the job," says Leadlay. But that didn't make the decision any easier.

"We had to sit down at the kitchen table and draw up a list of pros and cons," says Leadlay. "The pros narrowly won out."

Leadlay made this decision a few years ago. Today, he is happy with his work, and his family has adjusted to living in North America.
