Here's a list of programs that you should consider if you're interested in this career:

Education Level

Education training and experience are required at different levels for success in different occupations.

Bachelor's degree

Wind energy engineers typically need a bachelor’s degree. Some employers prefer to hire candidates who have experience, so cooperative-education programs may be beneficial.

Extra Requirements

Licensure for wind energy engineers is not as common as it is for other engineering occupations, nor it is required for entry-level positions. A Professional Engineering (PE) license, which allows for higher levels of leadership and independence, can be acquired later in one's career.
