Real-Life Communication -- Solution

You decide what technologies you will discuss and how to explain them. You might include:

E-mail -- Talk about how to send and receive e-mail messages all over the world. Mention a few e-mail software programs and be prepared to name your favorite.

Web browsers -- Be prepared to talk about surfing the web and mention your favorite web browsers. Why are they your favorites? What are your favorite websites?

Search -- Speak about how to use search engines to find things you want to find on the Internet.

Chat -- Mention online chatting and describe the different products and websites where you can chat.

"This sort of thing happens all the time," says Steven Price. He is the director of university-industry relations at a university. "You have to be able to think on your feet."
