Additional Information

"You have to go to school to get your license, but your real education begins the minute you walk out the school door," says technician Vicki Peters. "Find a mentor, train with others and network."

Requirements (education and licensing) for nail technicians vary from state to state. This is a problem in the industry -- there are no consistent requirements.
