The most common duty performed by most justices of the peace in North America is the wedding ceremony.

You are a justice of the peace. You have been asked to travel to a mountaintop with a couple to perform their wedding ceremony. They've also asked you to personalize their wedding service.

This is what you know about them:

  • Their names are Mark and Lisa.
  • They've been together for four years and are best friends.
  • They chose a mountain to be married because they believe that nature is the closest thing on Earth to God.

You also have to include the following official vows:

  • You must declare them husband and wife by the power vested in you by your state.
  • You must offer anyone at the wedding a chance to object to the wedding.

Combine those elements into a brief wedding ceremony.
