You've been hired to prepare a report for a large clothing store. The store has been losing a lot of money to customer theft.

Your report details several actions they can take to reduce loss, including installing cameras, using clothing tags (which cause an alarm to sound if removed from store) and having floorwalkers patrol the store.

It's important for your report to be as clear and concise as possible. Below is a paragraph from your first draft. It contains a lot of wordy phrases that can be replaced with one or two words.

For example, to "bring into question" really means to "challenge." Replace the bolded phrases with one or two more precise words (or none at all).

At some future time, it may or may not be advantageous to install cameras in each of the aisles. With current customer traffic levels, the expense is decidedly not worth it. This is true notwithstanding the fact that most other clothing retailers utilize cameras. Clothing retailers have a tendency to rely too much on cameras based on the fact that they seem to be an easy solution. One floorwalker could easily monitor the aisles. In brief summary, a floorwalker, along with electronic clothing tags, could most effectively reduce customer theft.
