The American Indian College Fund (AICF) was established in 1989 to
provide scholarships to American Indian/Alaska Native students
attending tribal colleges. The AICF is devoted to funding and
creating awareness about the community-based accredited tribal
colleges and universities that offer students access to knowledge
and skills alongside Native culture, language, and values. The
American Indian College Fund also provides scholarships to

This scholarship program is designed to prepare students for

Oklahoma Energy Rescources Board (OERB) awards up to $500,000 to
students majoring in petroleum-related fields. Maintain a minimum
grade point average of 2.75 (on a 4-point scale) and be enrolled
full-time in one of the following undergraduate petroleum-related
programs: Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience or Energy Management at
University of Oklahoma (OU), Oklahoma State University (OSU) or

Varsity Tutors Scholarship

Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $200 college scholarship contest
where students must write an essay in response to a monthly prompt.
Visitors to the Varsity Tutors scholarship webpage are able to vote
via social media for submitted entries. The five entries with the
most votes are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month
and one winner is subsequently chosen to receive the $200 college
scholarship.

NatureWorks - Sutton Award for Student Conservation

The Sutton Award recognizes high school students, grades nine
through twelve, who demonstrate the ability to communicate current
conservation topics in compelling ways. Applicants must choose one
of the following format categories for their presentation: 2D, 3D,
or photography. In addition to the artwork, each applicant must
submit a 250-word essay that explains how his or her work
communicates information about a current conservation issue. The
Sutton Award is comprised of up to $20,000 in cash to be
distributed among students, and among selected instructors of
winning students as determined by the selection committee. Students
must be attending school (public, private or homeschool) in the
state of Oklahoma. Students must not be an employee or an immediate
family member of an employee of the Sutton Center.

Ron Brown Scholar Program

The Ron Brown Scholarship Program (RBSP) honors the legacy of
Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that
advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually
gifted African Americans. RBSP competitively awards Ron Brown
Scholars four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the
most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who
demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community
engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship - the
four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown's mission to uplift people
of all races, cultures and ethnicities - especially our
disadvantaged youth. Recipients may use the renewable scholarships
to attend an accredited four-year college or university of their
choice within the United States. Ron Brown scholarships are not
limited to any specific field or career objective and may be used
to pursue any academic discipline. Applicants for the Ron Brown

ARRL Foundation

The ARRL Foundation is currently accepting applications from
eligible radio amateurs pursuing higher education. All applicants
must be active, FCC-licensed hams, and must complete and submit an
online application form. Applicants must also forward a copy of
their academic transcript from their most recently completed school

The National FFA Organization provides scholarships designed to
fit the diversity of their applicants. Scholarships sponsored by
businesses and individuals, through the National FFA Foundation,
are awarded to support a wide variety of higher education plans and

APIA Scholarship Program

The Asian & Pacific Islander American (APIA) Scholarship Fund
awards range from one-time $2,500 awards to multi-year $20,000
awards. APIA provides scholarships to underserved APIA students.
They place a special focus on those who live at or below the
poverty level, or are otherwise of low socioeconomic status, are
the first in their families to attend college, are representative
of the APIA community's diversity, geographically and ethnically,
especially those ethnicities that have been underrepresented on
college campuses due to limited access and opportunity, and have
placed strong emphasis on community service and leadership as well

JFK Profile in Courage Essay Contest

The Profile in Courage Essay Contest challenges students to write
an original and creative essay that demonstrates an understanding
of political courage as described by John F. Kennedy in Profiles in
Courage. The maximum word count is 1,000 with a minimum of 700, not
including citations and bibliography. Use at least five varied
sources such as government documents, letters, newspaper articles,
books, and/or personal interviews. The contest is open to United
States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending
public, private, parochial, or home schools; U.S. students under
the age of twenty enrolled in a high school correspondence/GED
program in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or
the U.S. territories; and U.S. citizens attending schools overseas.
The winner receives $10,000, second-place winner receives $3,000,
five finalists receive $1,000, and eight semi-finalists receive
$100.

C-SPAN's Student Cam

Each entry should reflect this year's theme: Explore the issue you
most want the president and new Congress to address in 2021.Your
video should analyze the current or historical significance of your
chosen issue and include differing points of view. The entry must
be the original work of the student(s). This competition is open to
entrants currently enrolled in middle or high school in any state
in the United States, the District of Columbia, or U.S.
territories. Students may be enrolled in public or private schools,
or be home-schooled. Students in grades 6-8 will be considered
"middle school" entrants; grades 9-12 will be considered "high
school" entrants. A grand prize of $5,000 for the student(s) and

United States JCI Senate Foundation

Each year, the U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate
Foundation grants $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school
seniors who plan to continue their education at accredited
post-secondary colleges, universities, or vocational schools. The
number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the
Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first
year of full-time study. The Oklahoma Senate will award two (2)
$500 scholarships. Recipients will then be forwarded on to the U.S.
JCI Senate Foundation to be considered for further judging.

The WEOKIE Foundation will award 25 graduating high school seniors

The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program is
designed to address the financial needs of minority college
students and provide comprehensive mentoring services through its
42 Strategies for Success Curriculum. Once chosen from a national,
selective process, "Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholars" receive a
generous four-year grant to assist with the costs of attending the
college or university of their choice and are enrolled in JRF's
celebrated mentoring curriculum. JRF's four-year curriculum enables
students to navigate the college environment effectively, explore
career options, develop leadership skills and embrace a commitment
to service. Throughout the four-year program, JRF also promotes the
values and character traits embodied in the heroic life of its
namesake. The JRF scholarship is awarded to outstanding high school

The 2021 EngineerGirl Writing Contest invites you to submit a
piece of writing that salutes engineering's role in meeting and

The EGIA Foundation Scholarship Program was established to
recognize the excellent and deserving students seeking an HVAC
technical education. This scholarship provides essential financial
support to aspiring residential HVAC, green HVAC, or home
performance contracting careers. Up to 20 eligible students will be
awarded a $2500 scholarship to pursue an HVAC degree or certificate
at an accredited community college, technical/vocational school, or

AFA Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness College

Alzheimer's disease doesn't just affect the people who have been
diagnosed with it; it also affects their loved ones, caregivers and
people of all ages, including children. Each year, AFA holds a
scholarship essay contest which asks students to describe how
Alzheimer's disease changed or impacted their lives. Whether
they've had a loved one with the disease, volunteered or worked as
a caretaker or are just passionate about the cause, the next
generation of leaders in the fight against Alzheimer's have a story
to tell. All high school seniors who are US citizens or permanent
residents and plan to enter a four-year college/university in 2021
are invited to take part in the contest. The grand prize is a

Vegetarian Resource Group College

Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, The Vegetarian
Resource Group each year will award $20,000 in college scholarship
money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted
vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities. Vegetarians do

other animal products such as dairy or eggs. One award of $10,000

Project Yellow Light is a scholarship competition
designed to bring about change. As an applicant you have one clear
mission: encourage your peers to develop and embrace safe driving
habits. The competition has three separate competitions: video,
billboard, and radio. Applicants must create a video, billboard
design or radio spot created to motivate, persuade and encourage
their peers to not drive distracted. You have a unique opportunity
to play a key role in spreading this important message. You can
speak to your peers on this subject in a way that adults cannot.
The more lives you can impact, the more lives you can save.
For both the high school and college categories of the
billboard competition, the winner will receive a scholarship in the
amount of $2,000. For the high school and college categories of the
video competition, the winner will receive a scholarship in the
amount of $8,000. For the high school and college categories of the
radio competition, the winner will receive a scholarship in the

The President's Leadership Scholarship at OSU-OKC
recognizes outstanding students who have demonstrated talent and
distinguished achievement in the areas of leadership, citizenship,
service and communication. The scholarship is comprised of a
full-tuition waiver for up to 15 credit hours each fall and spring
semester, including fees and a $500 book stipend. Applicants must
have a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Current college students
should be enrolled in a minimum of nine (9) credit hours each

The Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) scholarships
encourage the study of geophysics and related geosciences. Thanks
to the generosity of donors, the SEG offers a range of different
scholarship opportunities. Funds provided may be applied to

per academic year. Average awards are approximately $3,700. The
number of scholarships available depends chiefly upon the number of

The scholarships are available for current college
students at an Oklahoma college or university with definite plans
to continue in the fall or graduating high school seniors who have

The annual Religious Liberty Essay Scholarship Contest engages
high school students in church-state issues by directing them to
express a point of view on a religious liberty topic. Any high
school student graduating in 2021 or 2022 is eligible to enter the
contest. The grand prize winner will receive $2,000 and a trip for
two to Washington, D.C. The second prize winner will receive $1,000
and third prize will receive $500.

VFW Auxiliary's Young American Creative Patriotic
Art Contest

Each year, more than 4,000 high school students from across the
country participate in the VFW Auxiliary's Young American Creative
Patriotic Art Contest. The contest began in 1979 to recognize
up-and-coming artists and encourage patriotism in youth. This
scholarship is open to any student in grades 9-12 who is enrolled
in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program
in the United States. The first-place winner from each state
competes for national awards totaling $31,000.
